This is the GIwa canoe from Bella Bella. It left Bella Bella on July 11th. 17 days and 15 stops. This group of people left with the blessing of the Heiltsuk Chiefs & ladies of High Ranking. They represented Heiltsuk Nation with so much pride. I extremely of all of them from the pullers to the boat support and road crew. It was a long 3 weeks, but there victory was when they pulled into Cowichan. Way to go Bella Bella. We are sure are proud of you.
